This is the story of the boy Tea, who is almost 2 years old.

He was born without tibia (bilateral tibial hemimelia).

This disorder occurs in one in a million babies born. He can't walk. Yet. The only solution in Europe is to amputate both of my legs at knee level and install prostheses that will need to change as I grow.

However, my parents Dorota and Lukáš do not want to allow this.

However, there is a solution in the USA.

At St Mary's Medical Center in the United States (Palm Beach, Florida), Dr. Dror Paley has been offering a surgical alternative for more than 20 years to prevent amputation of both legs.

My parents teamed up with other families whose children were operated on in the United States by Dr. Paley and today they can walk on their own.

The total cost of the procedure is up to 393,307 USD (356,882 EUR). It's the sum of all three operations together that I have to undergo.
